Sindh Information Minister and PPP leader Sharjeel Memon on Friday dismissed media reports that his house was raided by law enforcement agencies personnel. The minister categorically denied that any raid at his residence had taken place. In a TV interview, Memon said he would take action against the TV channel, which aired the story without verification.
"We have tried to remain friendly with media but I will take action against the media house which aired this story without verifying it." According to Memon, on Thursday a newspaper had carried out a similar story and on Friday (today) retracted it.
