Chairman of the three-member commission, Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk, accepted additional witnesses list moved by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) including 12 officials after recording testimony of ninth witness, head of programmes of Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) Mudassir Rizvi. Recording his statement in response to cross examination of the PTI, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the ECP counsels, the FAFEN's Mudassir Rizvi informed that his organisation had compiled 264 constituencies' results during the general elections 2013.
Rizvi further said that there was similarity in results of the ECP and the FAFEN in 218 constituencies but some differences were found in the results of losing candidate in 18 constituencies out of 46 constituencies.
Incumbent secretary of the ECP Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad had served as Chief Secretary of Balochistan province during general elections 2013 so the GEIC directed him to record testimony in the current matter in both the positions.
