All Pakistan Motorcycle Spare Parts Importers and Dealers Association (MSPIDA) has expressed concern over rising incidents of robberies at bikes spare parts shops in Karachi. In a letter sent to Bilal Akbar, Director General, Sindh Rangers, MSPIDA has requested appropriate measures to avert such incidents.
The association in a letter informed the DG that the Sindh police remained toothless and became a silent spectator, putting the members of MSPIDA at the mercy of wrongdoers. "The criminals, who are roaming freely in the markets, commit their illicit activities and escape in leaps and bounds. Therefore, MSPIDA requests the DG Rangers to look into the matter and take stern action to avert such incidents in future." The association also urged Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to table the said issue before high-ups to provide maximum relief to its members.
