Shehbaz Sharif trolled for ‘turning’ Lahore into Paris

Rain is said to be a blessing, until the heavy downpour brings along more problems than blessings. Lahore residents are facing a similar problem, as Monday night's thunderstorm brought the city to a standstill and killed atleast six people.

A majority of the areas in Lahore have gotten submerged in rain water. Soon after the heavy downpour, Rescue 1122 started boat service to rescue residents. Reacting on this situation, Twitterati have come down hard on the former government of Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PMLN) and Shehbaz Sharif in particular for claims of turning Lahore into Paris with their work.

Residents of Lahore took to social media and slammed the lack of preparations and the poor drainage system, as roads were flooded following the heavy downpour. Some even said that the 'Paris' has turned into 'Venice'.

The paris of shehbaz sharif becomes the venice of shehbaz sharif.
