The campaign against poliovirus successfully continued in Quetta among five high risk districts of Balochistan on Tuesday. The anti-polio campaign in five high risk districts including Quetta, Zob, Sherani, Pashin and Qila Abdullah was started on Monday. However, due to non supply of vaccine, teams could not reach two points including Civil Hospital Quetta and transit point railway station.
Provincial Deputy Co-ordinator of the anti-polio campaign, Dr Ishaq Panizai said that priority has been given in the vaccination campaign to Qila Abdullah, Pashin and Quetta owing to high traffic from Afghanistan on the routes.
