Truth & Reconciliation commission’s formation to bring political, economic stability: Musadik      

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Affairs, Senator Dr Musadik Malik has said formation of Truth and Reconciliation commission was in a best national interest to bring political and economic stability.

The constitution of commission was imperative to bring the country on a path of speedy development and progress, he said talking to a private news channel.

He urged all the political parties to evolve a consensus on the formation of the commission to ensure uplift and welfare of the country.

He said former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had never talked about quitting the cases against him through formation of truth and reconciliation commission.

Musadik Malik said Nawaz Sharif had always talked about future of people of the country and launched a number of welfare projects including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that would change the fate of the people of country.

Disqualification of Nawaz Sharif had leave negative impact on Stock Exchange and economy, he added.

To a query, he said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders always adopted politics of agitation and unrest in the country.
