Sonam Di Wedding madness begins as B-Town celebs gather for dance practice
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor’s wedding is just around the corner and the B-Town biggies, especially the Kapoor family, are busy rehearsing dance numbers for her sangeet.
After much speculation, Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor and beau Anand Ahuja, a Delhi-based businessman, are finally tying the knot on May 8. This would be followed by a grand reception in the evening hosted by both families, the Kapoors and Ahujas, in Mumbai.
Preparations for all the events, especially sangeet and mehendi, are in full swing by the B-Town gang, including Sonam’s cousin Arjun Kapoor and best friend Jacqueline Fernandez. Video clips of dance sessions at Anil Kapoor’s residence started flooding the social media, giving everyone a sneak-peek into the wedding preps.
Along with Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor, ‘Student of the year’ actor Varun Dhawan and the film’s director Karan Johar were also among the group of people present at the residence. Family and friends could be seen shaking a leg on Salman Khan’s hit song ‘Swag Se Swagat’.
Even Sonam’s uncle Sanjay Kapoor showed off his excitement as he posted a picture of himself outside the residence with a bhangra pose.
On the work front, Sonam’s latest chick-flick ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is going to hit the screens on June 1. It will also be Kareena Kapoor’s comeback after she gave birth to her baby in 2016.
