Saba Qamar defeats Bollywood biggies Aamir, Salman in China

Pakistani actress Saba Qamar took on a new venture in 2017 when she debuted in Bollywood with her movie ‘Hindi Medium’ opposite Irrfan Khan but after the movie smashed box-office records in India, the film is now making new milestones in China.

Saba’s first quest in Bollywood initially conquered the Indian box-office by coming on top of movies of superstars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan and now the movie has managed to beat super hit movies such as ‘Dangal’ and Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in China.

The movie has marked a bigger opening at the China box-office of USD 3.68 million. The film has earned approximately USD 22 million till date. The movie crosses the 100 crore limit in India earlier and was declared as one of the highest grossing movies of 2017.

Although ‘Hindi Medium’ has managed to defeat ‘Dangal’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ but the movie was unable to beat the first day opening of Aamir’s ‘Secret Superstar’ that grossed USD 6.4 million on the opening day.
