The Lahore High Court (LHC) here Saturday directed District and Sessions Judge Faisalabad to look into the matter of murder of a man who was allegedly torture by policeman and submit a report within a week. The LHC took notice on a news item published in a section of press which stated that Ali Raza Abad police raided a gambling den and one Ghulam Rasool tortured to death.
After the incident, family of the victim staged a protest demonstration and demanded registration of a case against ASI Waqas for allegedly killing Ghulam Rasool.
