Turns out Shahveer Jafry's marriage was a prank
Nearly a week after a video of Pakistani YouTuber Shahveer Jafry tying the knot surfaced, the Youtuber has finally come clean about all his hush hush 'wedding' and revealed that it was in fact a prank.
On his YouTube channel, Shahveer revealed all the preparations that had gone into planning his fake wedding and pranking his fans. Shahveer's friend Zeeshan was the 'girl' who was wearing the veil sitting beside him.
Shahveer shared that they had planned to upload his marriage video on April 1, but then thought people would not believe it and would immediately know that it was an 'April Fools' prank. So his friends decided to upload the video so that people would really believe that Shahveer had gotten married.
On March 31, Zaid Ali, another famous YouTuber, on his Instagram had shared a video of Shahveer’s nikkah, congratulating him on getting nikkafied. The video showed Shahveer sitting besides his 'wife', whose face was covered with long head drapes.
