Ghandhara Industries Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with UD Trucks Corporation (UD Trucks), a leading global truck manufacturer, to market and distribute CBU units of UD Trucks in Pakistan.
The company shared the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange today.
“The company expects to import and distribute UD Trucks in Pakistan starting from the 1st quarter of CY 2027,” the notice said.
This initiative represents a significant milestone in the company’s product portfolio expansion and is expected to positively contribute to the company’s future growth prospects, said Ghandhara.
Ghandhara Industries Limited (GHNI) was incorporated in Pakistan in 1963. The company is engaged in the assembly, progressive manufacturing and sale of Isuzu trucks, buses and pick-ups.
Meanwhile, UD Trucks Corporation is a Japanese company whose principal business is the manufacturing and sale of diesel trucks, buses, bus chassis and special-purpose vehicles.
