KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 113,553 Tons of Cargo Comprising 55,728 Tonsof Import Cargo and 57,825 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 55,728 Tons Comprised of25,130 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 12,498 Tons of Bulk Cargo and 18,100 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 57,825 Tons Comprised of 33,523 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 647 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 2,032 Tons of Cement, 19,148 Tons of Clinkers, 1,570 Tons of Rice and 905 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
Four ships namely GFS Jade, Yu Xiao 10, Baraawe-1 and M.T Lahore at Karachi Port Trust.
Five ships namely Lisbon, Ts Kelang, Marine Ista, Safeen Powder and Heng Hui 6 sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Hansa Africa and Jacob-H left the port on Thursday morning.
Cargo volume of 92,930 tones comprising 71,060 tones imports cargo and 21,870 export cargo carried in 887 Containers (277 TEUs Imports and 610 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 10 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Harvest Legacy and GSL Rossi & two more ships, Safeen Power and Venus-9 carrying Coal, Container and LPG are expected to take berths MW-4, QICT and SSGC respectively on 9th July, 2026.
