Punjab CM expresses grief over helicopter crash

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed grief over the crash of an Army MI-17 helicopter near Muzaffarabad, reportedly caused by a technical fault.

The chief minister paid tribute to the personnel who embraced martyrdom in the helicopter crash and extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.

The CM Punjab said the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs would always be remembered and honoured.
