Murree Expressway accident: CM expresses grief over loss of lives

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in a traffic accident on the Murree Expressway.

Following the chief minister’s directives, the Murree administration and rescue teams immediately reached the accident site and initiated relief operations.

The CM ordered the provision of immediate and best possible medical treatment to the injured and sought a report on the incident. She also extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.

On Chief Minister’s instructions, Deputy Commissioner Murree Zaheer Abbas Shirazi and the District Police Officer (DPO) Murree visited PIMS Hospital to inquire after the injured and review the medical care being provided to them.
