LAHORE: A modern burn unit is being constructed at Sheikh Zayed Hospital at a cost of Rs four billion which will be completed in two years.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique visited the under-construction burn unit at Sheikh Zayed Hospital. Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Azmat Mahmood was also present.
On this occasion, Khawaja Salman Rafique said this project is a big gift from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for South Punjab. With this facility, the people of Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Sindh and Balochistan will get modern medical facilities. The patients from these areas will not need to go to Multan or other cities for treatment, he said.
