LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday ordered to return rupees seventy million deposited by the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz as a guarantee in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
A full bench, led by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, issued the order on the petition filed by the Maryam Nawaz.
Following the closure of the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Maryam Nawaz asked for return of the deposited money and court passed the order accordingly.
