KARACHI: State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) announced its 2025 financial results, including a PKR 181 billion profit bonus for policyholders.

According to the statement issues by SLIC on Wednesday, the Corporation reported PKR 640 billion in total income, PKR 289 billion in total premium income, PKR 181 billion in policyholder profit bonus, and PKR 26 billion in profit before tax, maintaining its position as Pakistan’s largest life and health insurer. Individual Life new business reached PKR 40 billion, reflecting 32 percent year-on-year growth, supported by product development and restructuring of its nationwide marketing network. Assets under management rose to PKR 2.5 trillion.

The Corporation paid PKR 224 billion in claims and allocated PKR 181 billion in policyholder profit bonuses.

“Our responsibility extends beyond performance to ensuring that growth benefits policyholders,” said Shoaib Javed Hussain, CEO of SLIC.

“The PKR 181 billion policyholder profit bonus reflects the scale at which institutional performance is translated into value for policyholders. These results have been supported by product development, execution across the Corporation, and the performance of our officers, staff, and nationwide marketing force.”

SLIC stated it will continue focusing on expanding its insurance business, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening institutional capacity. The Corporation aims to maintain growth and deliver value to policyholders and stakeholders.

Saleem Zia, Chairman of the Board of SLIC, said the results reflect financial stability. He added that the Corporation remains focused on providing long-term protection to policyholders while maintaining governance and contributing to financial system stability.
