Policeman martyred as LEAs foil terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Kachhi district

A police official was martyred in a terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Kachhi district on Saturday, while police force repelled the attack eliminating several terrorists.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for foiling the terrorist attack by “Fitna al-Hindustan” terrorists in Dhadar area.

The prime minister said timely action by police and CTD personnel led to the elimination of several terrorists, the PM Office stated.

He praised the courage of Balochistan police and CTD personnel, stating they set a high example of bravery.

The prime minister also paid tribute to the personnel who embraced martyrdom while bravely confronting the terrorists. He offered prayers for the departed soul and expressed condolences, praying for patience and strength for the bereaved family.

The prime minister reaffirmed that the government of Pakistan remains determined to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.

In a statement on his social media account, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said he was deeply saddened by the martyrdom of a brave Balochistan policeman in the terrorist attack on Police station Dhaddar, Kachhi.

“Our valiant police personnel responded with courage and repelled the attack, eliminating one terrorist despite injuries to their colleagues,” he added.

The minister saluted to the bravery, resilience, and sacrifice of the Balochistan police, saying the entire nation stood with the martyrs and their families. “We will continue to defeat terrorism with unwavering resolve,” he maintained.

Naqvi also paid tribute to the police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for successfully foiling a terrorist attack by “Fitna al-Hindustan” militants in Dhadar area.

He said police and CTD personnel bravely confronted the terrorists and repulsed the attack.

The security czar said the law enforcement agencies set a high example of bravery by thwarting the nefarious designs of the attackers.

Paying homage to the martyred, the interior minister said the fallen official sacrificed his life in the line of duty and set an example.

“Such brave sons are the pride of the nation,” he added.
