KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 207,131 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 102,434 tonnes of Import Cargo and 104,697 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 102,434 tonnes Comprised of 64,644 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 721 tonnes of Mop, 8,400 tonnes of Rock Phosphate, 6,628 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds & 22,041 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 104,697 tonnes Comprised of 52,458 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 703 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 36,578 tonnes of Clinkers, 4,938 tonnes of Loose Bulk Cement, 1,170 tonnes of Rice & 8,850 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 06 ships namely, Hmm Green, Asl Nan Jing, Dolphin 103, Hmo Leasder, Kmtc Mombasa, & Kever berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 06 ships namely, M Tsargodha, Tb Fengze, Montok, X-Press Phoenix, Gfs Jade, & Hmm Green sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A cargo volume of 84,444 tonnes comprising 76,305 tonnes imports cargo and 8,139 tonnes export cargo, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 928 containers (717TEUs imports and 211 TEUs exports), were handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
There are 08 ships at outer anchorage of the port and two container ships New Voyager and CMA CGM Verdi are expected to take berths at QICT terminal 1&2 respectively on Wednesday, 22ndApril-2026.
