PM Shehbaz discusses Middle East peace initiative with his Canadian counterpart

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a productive telephone conversation this evening with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, focusing on Pakistan’s peace efforts in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Carney congratulated Prime Minister Sharif for Pakistan’s instrumental role in facilitating the temporary ceasefire and hosting the recent US-Iran talks in Islamabad.
During their cordial exchange, Canadian prime minister commended Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives, emphasizing the significance of the ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran.
The prime minister assured that Pakistan would persist in its efforts to encourage both parties to uphold the ceasefire and progress toward de-escalation and regional stability.
