Islamabad Talks: Dar speaks to Egyptian and Saudi foreign ministers
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Saudi Arabia and shared the developments regarding the recently held Islamabad Talks, the Foreign Office said on Sunday.
In his call with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Dar briefed him on recent developments and Pakistan’s role in facilitating engagement between the parties involved.
He stressed that all sides, involving Iran war, must honour their commitments to a ceasefire and underscored the importance of continued dialogue and diplomacy to achieve lasting peace and stability.

In his conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Dar briefed him on recently held Islamabad Talks and stressed the importance of all parties adhering to their ceasefire commitments.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue and said Islamabad would continue to support diplomatic efforts aimed at sustaining engagement and promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond, according to the statement.
