LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the suicide attack targeting innocent civilians in Bannu.
She expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of 5 innocent citizens, including women and children, and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif also appreciated the timely action taken to foil the suicide attack on a police station in Bannu, acknowledging the efforts of law enforcement agencies in preventing further loss of lives.
Moreover, the Chief Minister has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic death of three labourers in a lift accident in Faisalabad. She extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for strength for them to bear the loss.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also sought a detailed report on the incident, directing authorities to investigate the unfortunate occurrence.
