ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate telephone conversations on Wednesday with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, and Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, condemning recent attacks in both countries and reaffirming Pakistan’s support for regional peace and stability.
In separate posts on X, PM Sharif said that during discussions with Al Sabah, he conveyed Eidul-Fitr greetings and expressed condolences over the loss of lives and injuries sustained in recent attacks.
He reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Kuwait and stressed the need for regional cooperation to resolve differences through dialogue and diplomacy.

PM Sharif also extended his respects to the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and invited the crown prince to undertake an official visit to Pakistan.Similarly, in his conversation with Sultan Haitham of Oman, PM Sharif offered condolences over casualties in recent attacks and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support.
Both leaders emphasised the need for peace and stability in the region and agreed to further strengthen bilateral ties.
The PM reiterated his invitation to Sultan Haitham to visit Pakistan, while accepting an invitation to visit Oman at mutually convenient dates.
