KARACHI: The bustling city is set to endure a spell of intense heat over the coming days, with the Met Office forecasting maximum temperatures of up to 38 Celsius through the weekend and into Monday.

Hot and dry conditions are expected to prevail across most of Sindh province, and residents have been advised to prepare for a significant warmup over the next three days.

The heat is forecast to peak over the weekend. Sunday, March 15 is expected to see maximum temperatures ranging between 36 and 38 Celsius.

However, conditions will turn considerably drier as the day progresses, with humidity falling to as low as 15 to 25 percent by Sunday evening.
