KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 103,789 Tons of cargo comprising 68,573 Tons of import cargo and 35,216 Tons of export cargo during last 24hrs ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 68,573 Tons comprised of 29,424 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 7,117 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 4,903 Tons of Dap, 3,769 Tons of Soya Bean Seeds and 5,861 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 35,216 Tons comprised of 21,593 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 587 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 11,596 Tons of Clinkers and 1,440 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
Ships Manta Hacer, Cosco Prince Rupert, M.T Shalamar, Fan YaGuang Zhou and Yongeng are on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
While ships Sea Hunter, Yong Chang Shun Hang, One Recognition, Marine Ista, Elm Galaxy, Km Weipa and Ital Universo Sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Hua Chauang-66 and Grand ACE-10 left the port on 5-3-26 morning, while three more ships, Hansa Europe, AM Ocean Silver and Navigator Celtic are expected to sail on 5-3-26 afternoon.
Cargo volume of 169,214 tonnes, comprising 104,427 tonnes imports cargo and 64,787 export cargo carried in 5,305 Containers (3,052 TEUs Imports & 2,253 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 12 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Polyaigos and Condor and another ship ‘Spar Electra’ carrying HSFO, Chemicals and Coal expected to take berth at FOTCO, EVTL and PIBT on 5th March, 2026.
