Pakistan embassy in UAE advises nationals to remain calm, avoid speculation
- Says nationals currently residing in UAE must exercise caution
Pakistan embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) advised on Saturday its nationals to remain calm and avoid speculation in light of recent developments in the Middle East.
The development came after Israel and US carried out attacks on Iran, and Tehran launched retaliatory strikes on regional bases.
“In the light of recent developments, all Pakistani nationals are advised to remain calm and avoid speculation.
“Please rely only on official and verified sources of the Government of the United Arab Emirates for information, do not circulate or act upon unverified news or social media reports.
“Pakistani nationals currently residing in the UAE must exercise caution, remain vigilant, minimize non-essential travels, if you have planned travel, please check your flight schedule and status with your airline before proceeding to the airport,” the embassay said in a statement.
