KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 183,677 Tons of cargo comprising 87,706 Tons of import cargo and 95,971 Tons of export cargo during last 24hrs ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 87,706 Tons comprised of 47,074 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 8,859 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 3,160 Tons of Lentils and 28,613 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 95,971 Tons comprised of 51,305 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 400 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 36,745 Tons of Clinkers, 801 Tons of Rice and 6,720 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
CURRENTLY BERTH: There are ten ships namely MPP Ikons, Maria Leader, Arion, Cosco New York, Bbc Iceland, Seaspan Bellwether, YM Celebrity, Forever Win, Ever Lucid and Kurt Mas on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
SHIP SAILED: Eight ships namely M.T Karachi, Konrad, X-Press Carina, Marianna C, Diligent Star, Wisteria, Huayang Lily, X-Press Anglesey Sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of thirteen ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a gas carrier ‘Galaxy Gas’ left the port on today morning, while five more ships, GFS Gensis, M Bright, Vera, ZH Chang Xin and X-Press Anglesey are expected sail on today morning (.)
Cargo volume of 210,937 tonnes, comprising 182,003 tonnes imports cargo and28,934 export cargocarried in 3,106 Containers (1,404 TEUs Imports & 1,702 TEUs Export)washandled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 20 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Sedra, PVT Sunrise, Elm Galaxy, X-Press Angesey and Ren Jian-26 & another ship ‘APL Le Havre’ carrying Steel Billets, Palm oil, Chemicals and Container expected to take berths at MW-1, LCT, EVTL and QICT on 11th February, 2026.
