Pakistan dispatches 28th humanitarian aid consignment to Palestine
- Relief consignment, comprising 100 tons of tents, sent with support of Alkhidmat
On the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched an additional humanitarian aid consignment for the people of Palestine.
“The 28th relief consignment, comprising 100 tons of tents, has been sent with the support of Alkhidmat Foundation. The relief goods were dispatched through a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Al-arish, Egypt, for onward delivery to Gaza,” the NDMA said in a press release.

With the dispatch of this latest consignment, the authority said, the total volume of humanitarian assistance sent to Palestine through 28 consignments has reached 2,727 tons.
The sending-off ceremony was attended by Punjab Housing Minister MPA Mian Bilal Yasin as chief guest. Senior officials from the NDMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with representatives of government departments and Alkhidmat Foundation, were also present on the occasion.
“The government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the people of Palestine in this difficult time and will continue to make every possible effort to support them and address their humanitarian needs,” read the press release.
