Security forces and law enforcement agencies have successfully repelled a large-scale, coordinated offensive by the Indian-backed terrorist outfit ‘Fitna-al-Hindustan’ across Balochistan as simultaneous attacks were launched at 12 separate locations, resulting in the elimination of 67 terrorists and the martyrdom of 10 security personnel.

Citing security sources, Aaj News reported that the militants targeted various installations in a synchronised wave of violence. However, timely and effective retaliation by the Frontier Corps (FC) and police thwarted the attempts, inflicting heavy casualties and material losses on the insurgents.

In a separate, harrowing incident in Gwadar, terrorists targeted a Baloch labourer family, martyring five members, including a woman and three children.

Shahid Rind, special assistant to the chief minister of Balochistan, confirmed that over 70 terrorists have been killed across the province during the last two days. “The pursuit of fleeing militants is still underway, and the police and FC remain on high alert to secure all vulnerable points,” Rind stated.

In the wake of the deteriorating security situation, the provincial administration has taken several emergency measures, including suspending mobile data services in Quetta for an indefinite period.

All train services within the province and those connecting Balochistan to the rest of the country have been halted.

Major trains, including the Jaffer Express, Bolan Mail, and Chaman Passenger, are currently suspended. The Peshawar-bound Jaffer Express was reportedly stopped at Jacobabad for safety. Railway authorities have announced full refunds for affected passengers.

The province remains under high security as clearance operations continue in remote areas.
