PESHAWAR: Pesco has declared six 11kV feeders as loadshedding-free, ensuring 24 hours of continuous and uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the concerned areas.
The feeders include Hashtnagri Feeder, Saeedabad Feeder, Islam Abad Feeder, Aladand Feeder, Express Kotigram Feeder, and City Khwaza Khela Feeder.
Pesco Chief Akhtar Hamid Khan congratulated the consumers of these areas and stated that this achievement is the result of exemplary cooperation from the public. He said that consumers refrained from power theft and ensured timely payment of their electricity bills, which significantly contributed to reducing losses. He further added that strong and sustained anti-theft operation was carried out on these feeders, resulting in a substantial decrease in losses, after which loadshedding was completely lifted.
Pesco Chief also shared the credit of this success with the district administration, Police, and FIA, acknowledging their unprecedented support and cooperation in the anti-theft drive.
