Basant Festival: LESCO deploys emergency duty staff

LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has deployed its staff on emergency duty to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and to respond promptly to any emergency situation during the Basant Festival.

Line staff, P&I staff, and maintenance staff have been assigned emergency duties from February 6 to 8, 2026. As part of Basant safety measures, LESCO has also installed protective nets at grid stations. Executive Engineer (XEN) Mir Mustafa has been appointed as the focal person to facilitate effective coordination.
