PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi said that preparations for a nationwide street movement are underway across the country on the instructions of PTI Founding Chairman Imran Khan.
He was speaking to rally participants and reception gatherings in Haripur, Abbottabad, and Mansehra during rallies held from Haripur to Mansehra.
The Chief Minister said that Imran Khan has issued clear instructions to formally prepare for the street movement, and in compliance with this directive, organized preparations are underway across the country with enthusiasm and determination.
He stated that Imran Khan’s message is being conveyed to every corner of the country and that this street movement will be taken to its peak.
He said that in this movement, every city, every village, and every chowk will become a center of protest, and this time every chowk will become D Chowk, where the people will raise their voices for their rights.
Addressing a gathering in Haripur district, the Chief Minister said that the people of Haripur are standing firmly with Imran Khan, but unfortunately, once again, the public mandate has been robbed. He said that an attack on the public mandate is, in fact, an attack on democracy, which cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
He further said that visits were made to various districts of Punjab and Sindh, where Imran Khan’s message was delivered directly to the people. The enthusiasm, passion, and commitment shown by the public in Karachi, Lahore, Hyderabad, Sargodha and other districts are clear evidence that Imran Khan remains the voice of the people.
He added that those who claimed Imran Khan was finished should now see for themselves that only Imran Khan’s name is resonating across the country.
KP CM said that the struggle for real freedom initiated under the leadership of Imran Khan is growing stronger with each passing day. He stated that their struggle is for the restoration of strong democracy, an independent judiciary, and a free media, and that no sacrifice will be spared to achieve these objectives.
The CM thanked the people of Hazara Division and said that the passionate enthusiasm displayed by the public during the rally is a clear declaration that the people stand with this movement and will see this street movement through to success.
