President Zardari to embark on four-day official visit to Bahrain on Tuesday
- During the visit, the president is set to meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa
President Asif Ali Zardari will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 13 to 16, 2026, accompanied by a high-level delegation, th Foreign Office said on Monday.
During the visit, the president is scheduled to hold meetings with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
According to official sources, the discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations as well as exchanging views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The visit aims to further reinforce Pakistan’s longstanding cooperation with the brotherly Gulf nation.
Both sides are expected to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration in key areas including trade and economic partnership, defence and security, and people-to-people exchanges.
Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy cordial relations marked by close cooperation in multiple fields, and the visit is seen as part of Islamabad’s broader engagement with Gulf countries to deepen economic ties and strategic cooperation.
