LAHORE: In order to highlight cinema as a powerful medium of expression, the Lahore Arts Council Alhamra, in collaboration with the Department of Film and Broadcasting, University of the Punjab, is set to organise a two-day film festival titled “Dekho Film” on January 14 and 15 at Alhamra.
The festival aims to highlight cinema as a powerful medium of expression and meaningful storytelling in the contemporary world.
While sharing his views, Executive Director of the Lahore Arts Council, Alhamra, Muhammad Nawaz Gondal, told Business Recorder that film is an effective and influential medium that delivers its message to audiences with remarkable impact. He emphasised that in today’s era, cinema is not merely a source of entertainment but has evolved into a vital platform for social, intellectual, and cultural expression.
