LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bokhari, congratulated the nation on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
She said that it was due to Quaid’s inspirational leadership, political foresight, and principled struggle that the Muslims of the subcontinent achieved an independent and sovereign homeland.
She added that Quaid’s golden principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline are still the enduring foundation for Pakistan’s development and prosperity. “Pakistan is the greatest blessing bestowed upon us through the tireless struggle of Quaid-e-Azam. The freedom and sovereignty we breathe in today are the fruits of his unparalleled sacrifices. Let us value this blessing and unite for the nation’s progress,” she emphasized.
Extending heartfelt birthday greetings to the Leader of PML (N), Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Azma Bokhari prayed for his long life, good health, and continued strength.
“Under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan will continue to advance towards new milestones of development and prosperity,” she said.
She also conveyed warm Christmas greetings to Christian communities across the world. She highlighted that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif places minority rights, religious freedom, and interfaith harmony at the top of her governance priorities.
“Minority communities are a crown on the head of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif,” she said, adding that the Punjab government is committed to providing equal opportunities, protection, and dignity to all minority citizens.
