Pakistan’s victorious Under-19 cricket team, which defeated India to claim the Asia Cup, was warmly received by Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of the Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, at GHQ Rawalpindi on Monday, Aaj News reported.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Munir congratulated the players, team management, and officials on their historic achievement, describing the triumph as a matter of pride for the entire nation.
He lauded the team’s discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit, noting that their dedication reflects the immense potential of Pakistan’s youth. The Field Marshal urged the players to maintain professional standards and serve as ambassadors of Pakistan both on and off the field.
