ISLAMABAD: In a major anti-smuggling operation, the Mobile Squad of Customs Enforcement Quetta has successfully seized three non-custom-paid (NCP) luxury vehicles valued at approximately Rs 210 million.
Acting on credible information provided by the Chief Collector (Enforcement), Islamabad, the enforcement team, working in coordination with other law enforcement agencies, intercepted and seized 02 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 (bulletproof) vehicles and 01 Lexus 450h.
The vehicles have been taken into custody for legal action under the Customs Act, 1969.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) while commending the Quetta Enforcement team for their swift and successful operation, reiterated its firm resolve to curb smuggling and illicit trade.
