12 ‘Indian-sponsored’ terrorists killed in Balochistan’s Kalat: ISPR

Security forces killed 12 “Indian-sponsored terrorists” in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the military’s media affairs wing said on Sunday.
The operation was carried out on Saturday, on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, “Fitna al Hindustan” – a term Islamabad uses for the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
“During the conduct of the operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, twelve Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement said.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, it added.
The ISPR added that sanitisation operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants in the region.
It reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eradicate the threat of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
