SNGPL posts second-highest profit in its history for FY2024-25
LAHORE: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced the second-highest profit in its corporate history for FY 2024–25, as presented during the 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Thursday, at local hotel in Lahore.
Shareholders endorsed the company’s annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The SNGPL recorded a profit before tax of Rs 24,446 million and a profit after tax of Rs 14,592 million, resulting in earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 23.01.
On the recommendation of the Board, the shareholders approved a final cash dividend of Rs 3.00 per share (30pc) for FY 2024–25. The AGM also approved the re-appointment of AF Ferguson & Co, Chartered Accountants, as external auditors for FY 2025–26.
A notable achievement during the year was the reduction in UFG volumetric losses from 31,317 MMCF to 30,026 MMCF, driven by the implementation of the TBS-based micromanagement initiative, enhanced surveillance measures, increased monitoring in high-risk areas, timely detection and rectification of leakages, and continuous improvement of measurement systems.
The meeting also featured an interactive session with shareholders, where constructive feedback was shared. All queries were responded to comprehensively, ensuring full satisfaction of the participants.
