World Children’s Day: Governor advocates for rights, education of children

KARACHI: This year, Universal Children’s Day is being celebrated with the theme “My Day My Rights.” Children are the bright future and most valuable asset of our nation.

In his special message on Universal Children’s Day, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori said that ensuring the rights, safety, and education of every child is a shared responsibility of the state and society.

A safe environment free from violence, exploitation and discrimination is the guarantee of optimal development of children. The Governor House continues to take practical steps to protect children’s rights and welfare.

Universal Children’s Day is an opportunity to highlight children’s issues and renew commitment for their well-being, the Governor said.
