Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs426,562 after a decline of Rs5,000 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs365,708 after it fell by Rs4,286, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs431,562 after a gain of Rs7,900 during the day.
The international rate of gold declined by $50 to reach $4,042 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs93 to reach Rs5,329 per tola.
Moreover, international gold prices edged lower on Thursday, weighed down by a stronger dollar and reduced expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut in December, with investors eyeing a delayed US jobs report.
Spot gold was down 0.1% at $4,077.82 per ounce, as of 0449 GMT. US gold futures for December delivery fell 0.2% to $4,076.50 per ounce.
