National Logistics Corporation (NLC), a multimodal logistics organisation of Pakistan, and DP World, a United Arab Emirates (UAE) based global logistics company, have successfully completed the first commercial cargo delivery from the UAE to Tajikistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, NLC and DP World transported 38 tons of automotive spare parts to the Tajik capital Dushanbe.

“Recently, automotive parts were moved from Dubai, via Karachi, to Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Boosting regional trade to Central Asia.

“This achievement was made possible through NLC’s professional expertise and modern logistics infrastructure,” the state-broadcaster said.

The report shared that the cargo was delivered in just 16 days via the Dubai-Dushanbe corridor, compared to 20-70 days via other routes.

“Pakistan’s growing logistics capabilities are ensuring trade flows across the region,” it added.

Earlier this month, a delegation from NLC and DP World unveiled plans for “Pakistan Mart” — a dedicated commercial hub near Jebel Ali, UAE, set to showcase Made-in-Pakistan products to regional and global buyers.

According to the statement, DP World pledged its full support by constructing this flagship project at zero construction cost for Pakistani stakeholders.

“The proposed Pakistan Mart will include commercial units, designed to house warehouses, retail shops, showrooms, and e-commerce fulfilment centres for Pakistani exporters and traders,” read the statement.

The mart is envisioned as a one-stop marketplace to showcase Made-in-Pakistan products to Middle Eastern, African, and international buyers.
