Trump says he could extend TikTok deadline if needed, has US buyers

WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he has American buyers lined up for TikTok and that he could further extend the deadline for China-based ByteDance to divest the app’s U.S. assets, adding that he did not have privacy or security concerns.
