CJCSC chairman, Bangladesh Army quartermaster general discuss regional security environment

Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, Bangladesh Army Quarter Master General, called on Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Chairman General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi, the military’s media wing reported on Friday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the prevailing security environment in the region and laid emphasis on shared resolve for enhancing existing cooperation in defence and security domain, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Pakistan, Bangladesh hold talks on industrial collaborations
The JCSC chairman highlighted the rising trajectory of bilateral relations between both the countries and identified new avenues of defence cooperation.
The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in fight against terrorism.
