Security forces killed five Khawarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“An intelligence based operation was conducted by the security forces in Peshawar District, on reported presence of Indian sponsored Khawarij,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement today.
During the operation, own troops skillfully surrounded and effectively engaged the Indian sponsored khawarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, four Indian sponsored khwarij, including Kharji Haris and Kharji Baseer, were killed, added the ISPR.
The military’s media wing said that the second intelligence based operation was conducted in North Waziristan District and in ensuing fire exchange, one more kharji was neutralized by the security forces.
“Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the Indian sponsored killed Khawarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in these areas,” the ISPR said.
The press release said that sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji found in the area, as “the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country”.
