LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday sustained an objection raised by the registrar office on the petition by PTI activist Sanam Javed against the inclusion of her name in the Passport Control List (PCL).
The office had questioned the maintainability of the petition, pointing out that the petitioner had not availed the first remedy available in the law before approaching the court.
The court heard the petition as an objection case and a law officer supported the registrar office’s view. He said the petitioner should approach the appropriate authorities first.
The court upheld the office objection and dismissed the petition.
