KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 23.358 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,230.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 11.574 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.353 billion), Platinum (PKR 2.643 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.523 billion), Silver (PKR 1.212 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.102 billion), Copper (PKR 436.648 million), Natural Gas (PKR 158.654 million), DJ (PKR 154.121 million), SP 500 (PKR 125.629 million), Palladium (PKR 54.652 million) and Brent (PKR 19.109 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 36lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 47.405 million were traded.
