KARACHI: The Excise and Taxation Department of Sindh has collected over Rs. 82 billion in taxes from July 2023 to January 2024.
According to the details, the department has collected Rs. 5.99 billion as motor vehicle tax, Rs. 71.24 billion as infrastructure cess, Rs. 460.88 million as professional tax, Rs. 86.47 as cotton fee, and Rs. 43.48 million as entertainment duty. The remaining amount was collected under other tax heads by the department.
