ISLAMABAD: Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) does not exclusively supply petroleum products to Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) the refinery serves several oil marketing companies (OMCs).

Contrary to any insinuations in the circulated information, APL’s overall upliftment aligns with the allocation from ARL throughout the year, said a statement.

A news attributed to the Federal Minister for Energy is circulating on December 13 that APL, an associated company of ARL is not lifting full stocks from ARL is inaccurate as it is devoid of factual basis.

In addition, it is imperative to acknowledge that APL is a reputable and law-abiding company and is recognised for its responsible role within the industry.

Even during periods of supply deficits caused by shortcomings from other companies, APL has consistently contributed to maintaining a well-supplied network nationwide. This level of commitment has garnered express recognition from relevant bodies and the public on multiple occasions.

Needless to say, the APL remains steadfast in its dedication to upholding the highest standards of industry practices and the company will continue to uphold demonstrated ability to ensure a consistently well-supplied network across the country, prioritizing the best interest of the general public.
