KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has expressed concerns over slowdown in FBR’s IRIS system, creating difficulties for taxpayers to e-file their monthly tax returns.
Muhammad Idrees, President KCCI said that taxpayers are unable to e-file sales tax returns due to system malfunctioning.
“This time the taxpayers are unable to estimate the input tax,” Muhammad Idrees said, demanding the FBR to address the issue on immediate basis. “If the system continues to slow down, it will be difficult for taxpayers to e-file returns,” said KCCI president.
